Visual and Verbal Techniques/Features

Some great responses to Looking for Alibrandi. One thing I would like you all to keep in mind is to be very specific when referring to visual and verbal features. In the scene where Michael and Josephine come face to face the visual feature is simply a mid shot which is the most frequently used shot to show emotion/reaction. The verbal features are dialogue, voice over and music. It is not sufficient to say verbal and visual features are used to show this. Do make sure you distinguish between voice over and dialogue. Keep writing it's fabulous to read your responses expressing an excellent depth of understanding.
